Ah, bananas... reminds me of the infamous Banana Incident at DragonCon 97, featuring author Mercedes Lackey and her husband, Larry Dixon. :)
They were doing a panel and a bowl of fruit had been placed up there. Well, at some point, Larry must have got bored, as he picked up a banana and began stroking it and petting it quite... lovingly... as he peeled it. Everyone was giggling and it was hard to get the questions answered... Then Misty (Mercedes) grabbed the banana from Larry and took this HUGE bite off of it. Without missing a beat, her husband came back, "Remember Dear, you have to swallow." It was several minutes before questions resumed while everyone laughed until they saw stars... =)
